About the Event
On 10/26 2:00 p.m., Sophia Schneider-Esleben presents her eco label of the same name with her Bauhaus collection - Hommage à PSE, followed by a fashion show.
We then cordially invite you to toast Bauhaus & EcoFashion.
The fashion designer Sophia Schneider-Esleben is experimenting for the first time with textile prints for her “Bauhaus Collection - Hommage à PSE”, inspired by the works of her grandfather, Paul Schneider-Esleben. He is considered one of the most outstanding architects of post-war modernism. Mies van der Rohe, Walter Gropius and Le Corbusier are his friends, companions and role models. PSE's concept and his great talent were to create architecture as a total work of art in an interdisciplinary manner, with furniture, jewelry and painting.
As in the Bauhaus, Sophia Schneider-Esleben combines architecture, fashion design and painting in CrossCulture with the help of digitization 2.0 and its theme of sustainability. She transforms PSE's designs, such as the Haniel Großgarage in Düsseldorf, his groundbreaking work in 1949, the watercolor from Bali and the ink drawing into a winter landscape, and has her digitized textile design printed as a silhouette using the offset process on pure organic cotton. She produces her collection with vegan materials, unisex, cross-generational and 100% made in Germany.
